History of Splavy R&D Enterprise

Splavy R&D Enterprise is a specialized enterprise in designing and production of equipment and tools for cleaning boiler pipes, heat exchangers, sewer pipelines from water scale and residue. The manufactured equipment is widely used in the metallurgical, energy, oil refining, chemical, pulp-and-paper, and food industries. Also, the most important activity of our enterprise is rendering services in cleaning of internal surfaces of pipes of heat exchangers and sewers. We have all the necessary resources for this: cleaning equipment and movable crews. The largest thermal power plants, regional hydro-electric power plants and nuclear power plants of the country have chosen our company for work on cleaning heat exchangers. Splavy R&D Enterprise was founded in 1996 by a group of talented engineers headed by Borzenkov Ivan Alexandrovich, who remains at the helm of the company. At that time, no one dealt with the problem of cleaning the internal surfaces of pipes in our country. There were foreign companies, but the price of their services allowed to change the equipment for a new one, rather than to try to clean it. Our company has developed and patented the technology of hydro-mechanical cleaning of internal surfaces of pipes. For this purpose, the necessary equipment and tools have been developed and patented. Testing of the equipment was carried out at the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant in the conditions of the most severe deposits. Our equipment has delivered successful results, and from 1996 to this day we are partners of the Kursk NPP in cleaning heat exchange equipment. In 2000, at the Moscow TPP-12, we carried out comparative tests of our equipment in comparison with foreign-made analogues. The installation “Krot” produced by us has outperformed competitors in all respects, especially in price.

According to the results of these tests, the All-Russian Heat Engineering Research Institute issued “Methodological guidelines for reagentless methods of cleaning heat exchange equipment from deposits” (RD 153-34.1-37.410-00) and this document gave the recommendation to use our cleaning method at all TPP plants.

Over 20 years of work, we have repeatedly improved our equipment and found the best price/consumer appeal ratio.

Despite crisis conditions, reforming of concerns of heat supply and power supply, we keep leading positions in the cleaning of the heat exchange equipment in Russia and the CIS countries, and more and more enterprises choose our company as a partner.

We are manufacturers, therefore we set the pricing policy for equipment and tools by ourselves. The equipment has a small weight and dimensions, quickly adjusts to the operating modes; it is easy to maintain and operate. In addition, our equipment allows to operate in a space-limited environment. It can be internal drums of boilers, supply headers of heaters or condensers.
